Steve was born and raised in Independence, Kentucky and came to enjoy the game of golf at a young age. He joined the golf team at Simon Kenton High School and played club golf through the Northern Kentucky area for nearly a decade. Steve’s first job was working as a Bag Attendant at Summit Hills Country Club in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. After high school, he had a successful career in the retail and restaurant industry; including time spent as a Sales Associate and Club Fitting at Golf Exchange and Mega Golf. In 2024, Steve, his wife Heather, and dog Declan, moved to West Harrison, Indiana, where they built a barndominium. That move lead Steve to Wetherington Golf and Country Club where he began part-time on the Outside Golf Operations team. Steve's positive attitude, smiling face, and willingness to assist the club and it's members in any way possible has been a tremendous asset to the club. Steve was recently promoted to Golf Shop Manager / Ladies Golf Coordinator; a position where he will be able to further help the golf department provide a first-class golf experience to members and guests of the club!
