a legacy of excellence at wetherington
Established in 1991 and opened for play in 1992, Wetherington Golf & Country Club spans 450 acres of rolling farmland and forest. Our championship course was meticulously developed by Great Traditions and designed by Arthur Hills, one of the most renowned golf course architects in the world. In 2002, Hills was honored as Architect of the Year, a testament to his exceptional design vision. The golf course beautifully reflects Hills' commitment to traditional design values, incorporating five serene lakes, deep ravines, and wooded hillsides that showcase the area's natural beauty.
Wetherington is a member-owned club, operated by a Board of Directors and a General Manager. Our original clubhouse, The Lodge, sits next to our swim and tennis facilities. In 1994, we expanded with a 20,000-square foot main clubhouse, featuring locker rooms, a pro shop, club-class dining and banquet rooms, and an outdoor restaurant - an inviting addition that enhances the overall experience.
