Dave has served the club as the General Manager since April 2021. Prior to that, Dave worked as the Assistant Golf Professional for three seasons here at Wetherington. Dave also is on the teaching and club fitting staff. Dave has brought experience from 3 years at Brown’s Run Country Club, 20 years at Weatherwax Golf Club, 12 years at Sharon Woods Golf Club, and 6 years at Crest Hills Country Club. Dave lives in West Chester with his wife Michelle. He has 4 children, 2 stepchildren and 7 grandchildren.
Director of Clubhouse Operations & Marketing
Ashley Lueth formally, Greene has been with us since 2013. She grew up in a small town in northwestern Ohio. After graduation, she moved south and studied Hospitality Management at the University of South Carolina-Beaufort. In 2007, Ashley took a position as the Event Coordinator for the Funny Bone Comedy Club in Dayton. A few years later, she decided to move back south to accept a position as the Event Manager for the Greenville Drive- Minor League Baseball Team, affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. In 2010, Ashley headed back to Ohio to return to the Funny Bone Comedy Club and was promoted as the Event Coordinator for both Dayton & Cincinnati Clubs. Ashley currently resides in Maineville with her husband Adam and their yorkie-poo, Frankie & terrier-mix, Eddie!
Head Golf Professional
Mike is a Cincinnati native and has been involved in the golf industry in some capacity for 15 years. He attended Moeller High School and was a member of the Golf, Bowling, and Tennis teams. Following high school, Mike attended Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, KY where he played golf all 4 years and participated in the Division III NCAA Men's Golf Championship. He graduated from Thomas More in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Mike began his golf career at an early age as he worked at Hyde Park Golf & Country Club as a teenager. After Hyde Park he began his professional career at The Mill Course (formerly Winton Woods golf course) as an Assistant Golf Professional. During his time with The Mill Course, Mike passed the PGA's Playing Ability Test at Westchester Golf Course near Columbus, OH. In addition to working as an Assistant at The Mill Course, Mike also worked for Callaway and Adams Golf brands as a fitting specialist where he would travel to different golf courses (private and public) and run their fitting events. Most recently, Mike worked at Maketewah Country Club as an Assistant Golf Professional for 4 seasons. While at Maketewah he became a Class A PGA Member in July of 2018.
Mike and his wife Kristen were recently married on April 6, 2019 at St. Rose Church. They reside in Mt. Washington and are now parishioners at St. Rose. They enjoy attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends. They also find time to spend with one of their 9 nieces and nephews. On Thanksgiving Day of 2020 Mike and Kristen welcomed their first child, John Carter Pharo. John is now keeping them very busy!
Tim Kelley has been a member of the Wetherington team since the spring of 1992. Upon graduation from Ohio State University, with a Bachelors Degree in Agronomy, Tim was hired as the Golf Course Superintendent. He was responsible for the grow in phase of course development and has continued to help the course evolve into the prestigious facility it is today.
Tim's previous experience and opportunities have given him the knowledge necessary to make Wetherington one of the top courses in the Cincinnati area. He has had the privelege of working at two top ten courses in the country. While attending college, Tim had the chance to gain valuable knowledge while working at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Also, in 1990, he completed an internship at Medinah Country Club located near Chicago, Illinois. This opportunity afforded him the chance to work during the 1990 U.S. Open helping with course set up and overall course conditioning. In 1996, Tim was honored with the Ohio State Young Alumni of the Year Award from the College of Agriculture for his help with educating at-risk students on golf course operations and employability skills.
Tim currently resides in Liberty Township with his wife and family.
Welcome our new Controller, Tom McClure. Tom grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin for both his undergrad and master’s degrees. He worked for ClubCorp in the Austin area and served as the Controller for both The Hills of Lakeway CC and The Clubs of Lakeway for eight years. Tom and his family, including three daughters, relocated to Cincinnati in 2008 after a brief three-year stint living in Vermont. He served as Financial Reporting Manager and Treasurer for thirteen years and a few years doing private consulting. Tom grew up a Dallas sports fan but he has adopted his new hometown teams, the Bengals and Reds, and roots hard for them too. He is very excited to be back in the Country Club atmosphere that he started off in and looks forward to meeting the members and doing all he can to enhance their club experience.
Adam grew up in DeSoto Texas, just miles south of Dallas. He earned his degree in Culinary Arts and Sciences while working at Bridlewood Country Club before moving to Los Angeles where he worked in fine dining. As an energetic young man, Adam ventured off to Maui where he worked at the world-class, Mama’s Fish House.
Adam then relocated to Ohio to be closer to family. He began working at Wetherington, becoming the Sous Chef and stayed for nine years. He left Wetherington to pursue career growth and was at Four Bridges Country Club for four years. Adam came back to Wetherington last October, as the Chef de Cuisine. While working at Wetherington, Adam found love and married Ashley! Yes, our Ashley Lueth! They have two dogs, Frankie & Eddie. Adam enjoys watching the Cubs lose to our Reds and the Cowboys frustration year after year! He also enjoys golfing and fishing.

We are excited to welcome Corey back to Wetherington, as our Sous Chef. Corey, a Walnut Hills graduate, started his culinary career in the late 90s working for the nationally renowned Comisar family honing his skills at Chester’s Road House, LaNormandie, and the Maisonette. Corey advanced in his craft by exploring new pairings and experimenting with cutting edge combinations. He always aims to please and also introduce new interpretations and interesting twists on old favorites. When not working, Corey enjoys hiking and visiting museums with his wife, Sally, and daughter, Zoey. The Brown family moved to Beckett Ridge in 2017 and enjoys being a part of your community.
Food, Beverage & Dining Manager
Katie has been in the food and hospitality arena since she was 15 years old. She has held virtually every position in restaurants including executive chef positions and general manager. She has country club experience from nearby Brown’s Run. Katie has managed a specialty wine shop and bar. She has owned and operated her own event business. She has gained much experience over the past seven years following her engineer husband’s career over the United States.
Katie graduated from Franklin HS and attended Miami University for marketing and communications. She has settled in West Chester with her husband of five years Levi, sister Alyssa and their four spoiled cats. Levi and Katie bonded over their shared passion for food and wine. Katie takes pride in the fact that she has taught Levi to be a much better baker than herself.
Katie has a passion for wine, not just sipping some! She searches for wines to pair with meals, finding perfect occasion bottles and being educated on the making of wine. She also loves to create exciting specialty drinks.
Event & Membership Coordinator
Jess is joining us all the way from Chicago, IL, where she was born and raised. She grew up working at her family’s restaurant, which gave her the passion to go into the hospitality industry. Jess graduated from Roosevelt University and received her degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. During college, Jess was the Scheduling Service Manager at the John Marshall Law School. After graduation, she joined the Odyssey Venue as the Special Events Coordinator. She has worked in the event and wedding industry for the last 5 years, with her latest position at the Morgan Park Academy as the Event and External Program Manager.
Jess enjoys spending time outdoors, reading and drawing. She’s excited to check out all the local restaurants and learn more about her new city!
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Assistant
Renee grew up in the Cincinnati area. She graduated from Cincinnati Christian High School. Renee received her Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Fl. After University, Renee moved back to the Cincinnati area where she worked for a computer software company in Hamilton for 14 years. She is excited to be part of the of the Wetherington family.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys reading, music, and hanging out with family and friends.
Brianna has joined us all the way from Washington State, where she was born and raised. After spending majority of her life in Washington State she made the move to Ohio and has been here for the last 6 years. Brianna joined the Wetherington Team in August 2021 and has been an incredible addition to our team. In Brianna’s free time she enjoys drawing, cooking, and spending time with her family.
